Dr. Kia is passionate about orthodontics. His extensive engineering background, his knowledge in oral anatomy and his holistic approach make him a great candidate to treat orthodontic cases.
He has achieved Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
Dr. Sabo, DDS

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Sabo combines advanced dentistry with a holistic approach to care. She has a deep understanding of the connection between oral health and overall wellness, always focusing on identifying and treating the root cause of dental issues rather than just the symptoms.
Dr. Sabo specializes in full mouth reconstruction, complex molar root canals, and wisdom teeth extractions. Roy Lacuata
Ortho Supervisor
Rolando “Roy” Lacuata is the RDA and Back Office Supervisor here at OC Dental. He has been working here for over 9 years and has built a bond with both patients and staff. He finds enjoyment in educating them on dental care and takes pride in what he does. Roy is from San Fernando City in the Philippines, he dreams of traveling the world and seeing Scandinavian countries. His favorite thing to do on his time off is watch movies with his dog Fluffy.
Andrea Melchor
Ortho Assistant
Maria Andrea R. Melcitor works in the ortho department as an Orthodontic Assistant. She has been working at OC Dental for a year and a half now. She enjoys working with Dr. Kia who motivates her to do better. She has learned so much here and appreciates the knowledge of all the doctors and staff. Maria says she does Zumba on her days off to build up energy for work, it helps her body and mind stay productive.
Andrea Melchor
Ortho Assistant

Maggie De Anda is a dental assistant and has been working at OC Dental for over 10 years now. She is an Orange County local and loves spending time with her family on her days off. She says the best part of working at OC Dental is the teamwork and having everyone come together to accomplish so much more, the patients truly appreciate it.
Caroline Avila

Caroline De Avila has been a valued member of the OC Dental Center team for nearly 10 years, bringing experience in the dental field since 2011. An Orange County local, she calls Anaheim her hometown and now lives in Santa Ana with her husband and five daughters. Caroline is DA certified and holds her X-ray license, helping support both patients and the team with confidence and care. She considers her coworkers a second family and loves the fun, social energy around the office. Outside of work, you can find her cooking, shopping, spending time with her girls, and listening to Christmas music year-round.

With several years in the dental field, she continues to expand her knowledge and skills in every aspect of patient care. Cindy enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where each day brings new opportunities to learn and grow. She appreciates the flexibility and supportive atmosphere of the team, which allows them to provide exceptional care to every patient. Currently, Cindy is working toward obtaining her RDA license as she continues to advance her career in dentistry.
